VENICE (SNN TV) – A wrong-way driver causes a three-vehicle crash in Venice.
This happened Saturday night according to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office. In a press release, the office says a driver was going north in the southbound lanes on Englewood Road just south of Whispering Pines Circle.
The driver crashed head-on with another vehicle driving south. The Sheriff’s Office reports one possible fatality.
All southbound lanes were closed after the crash but were reopened Sunday morning.
