SARASOTA – Hundreds attended the finals of the Sarasota Woman’s Challenge Polo Tournament.
The six circuit tournament features 12 woman’s polo teams from across the country. The finals took place on Championship Field at the Sarasota Polo Club.
The tournament benefited Just for girls an organization empowering woman’s leadership. The tailgating theme for the finals was Think Pink to raise funds for Susan G. Komen.
“What we’re trying to empower Woman’s Polo and what they’re looking to do the WIPN is a great idea and we want to make that know not only our public but to other polo players around the world” said Amy Trytek, Director of Operations. “So it’s a great opportunity to get these women out on the field and just see what they are capable of doing.”
The next circuit of polo tournaments takes place in Port Mayaca and the U.S. Woman’s Championship open takes place in Wellington, Florida March 16th. For more information you can visit sarasotapolo.com
