(WSNN) – The weekend is upon us, which means it’s time for a breakdown of all the events you’ll want to look out for.

The Second Annual Grand Flag March returns to the John Ringling Bridge in Sarasota, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Project Pride SRQ is closing out Pride month by unfurling a 1,050-foot Pride flag over Sarasota Bay – the longest in the world. The march begins at Hart’s Landing, and you can park near Bayfront Park. Prepare to get there early as parking is limited. You can find more details here.

And get your tickets now to bid your final farewell to Beneva Fruitville’s Drag Queen Bingo Bonanza. After about 12 years, she is saying goodbye. Her final two shows are at McCurdy’s Comedy Theatre in downtown Sarasota this Sunday, June 26th, and on July 31stat 8 p.m. You can get ticket info here.

As the war in Ukraine continues, so do the efforts to help. Sunday at 5 p.m., Temple Sinai in Sarasota is hosting a Benefit concert called ‘Hope from the Harp.’ Principal harpist from the Sarasota Opera, Giuseppina Ciarla, will be performing songs from her recently released international album A Ticket Home. All the funds will go towards ‘The Organization Emergency,’ which is a non-profit helping Ukrainian refugees. Admission is by donation. You can find details here.

And for your favorite athletes, aerialists and clowns, check out the Summer Circus Spectacular at the Historic Asolo Theater in Sarasota.  It’s an annual collaboration between the Circus Arts Conservatory and the Ringling. Show times are 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. during the week, and 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday. The show runs through August 13th. You can find more details here.

Grab some popcorn and relax at CoolToday Park in North Port this Sunday. The Movie Nights series continues with an 80s film. The classic adventure-comedy “Goonies” will be screened on the stadium’s scoreboard Sunday at 6 p.m. For ticket info, you can click here.

And don’t forget tonight, the Friday Night Concert Series is happening in historic downtown Venice at the gazebo in Centennial Park. It’s held every second and fourth Friday of the month. It’s going from 7-9 p.m., and it’s free for everyone. You can find more details here.
