VENICE – The Venice chalk festival has been postponed due to COVID concerns.

According to the Herald Tribune, the art festival which was planned for late October will be postponed until April of next year.

Organizer Denise Kowal, noted the regional event at the Airport is international and requires advertising to bring in a large number of tourists, as well as large crowds.

In addition, many artists travel from outside of the United States and their ability to enter the country has been dependent on COVID-19 based restrictions.
