TAMPA (SNN-TV) – Sophomore USF RB Brian Battie was named second team all-AAC today.
The former Braden River High and Sarasota High standout Battie ranked 2nd in the AAC in rushing with 98.8 ypg and finished with 1,186 yards and eight touchdowns, the sixth-best rushing season in USF program history.
Battie also tallied 1,936 all-purpose yards, which itself is a single season USF record. Battie tied a USF record with five-straight 100-yard games in the final five games of the season, part of seven 100-yard games on the year.
