CITY OF NORTH PORT (WSNN) – UPDATE: All areas of North Part are cleared of the city-wide boil water notice.

The city staff lifted the precautionary advisory this morning. This includes the Harbor Isles Community, which had the boil water notice still in place yesterday.

The City of North Port utility customers were placed on a 72-hour boil water advisory because of a water main break that happened on Tuesday.

Since the water passed the bacteriological survey two days in a row, the water advisory has been lifted for all areas except for the Harbor Isles Community.

The results showed that the water is safe for consumption, ice making, and cooking.

If you live within the Harbor Isles Community, the boil water advisory remains.
