TAMPA BAY – Even in the midst of a pandemic, the miracle of birth is still happening.
We first introduced you to Perla Beltrán, a soon to be mother, a couple of weeks ago. Perla was concerned about bringing her baby into the world amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Well, we’re happy to share Perla gave birth to Emmanuel Beltran on March 26 at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital in Tampa.
Emmanuel is following the same rules as everyone else: six feet apart.
Perla says as of right now, no one in the family has been able to be in the same room as him.
But, family members have come by the house to meet the newborn.
People see him through the window or an open door.
And Perla says the baby is happy and healthy.
