BRADENTON – Manatee County Sheriff’s detectives are looking for two suspects involved in an armed robbery and shootout at a business.

Sheriff’s spokesman Randy Warren says two men wearing scream masks entered the Triple A laundromat on 57th Ave W Sunday night. Deputies say both suspects each had weapons and demanded cash from the employee.

Deputies say as the two suspects exited the laundromat the employee fired several shots. One of the suspects then returned fire. No injuries were reported.

“A lot of business owners are fed up and they decide they want to take control of the situation they try to prevent it, stop it, it’s not advisable but in this case they were trying to defend their business,” said Warren.

Detectives are looking for the gateway vehicle, a light colored two door Sedan. If you have any information your asked to call the sheriff’s office or crime stoppers.
