SARASOTA COUNTY – The missing bird we told you about on Thursday is in the hands of another owner.
Sarasota County Sheriff’s report says the adopters will want to keep the bird.
The report says they made the adopters aware of the award and the counter bird offer.
But still…,
“The adopters stated they would not be returning this bird,” the Sarasota County Sheriff’s report said.
The report shows it’s a retired couple who lives in Punta Gorda.
SNN’s Annette Gutierrez reached out to them, but, the lady, hung up on her.
Tracy Zito, the original bird owner, says she is grateful to the couple, but she just wants her parrot, “Tequila,” back.
