TAMPA (SNN-TV) – Tonight is the night! The NFL’s kickoff is imminent, as the reigning, defending Super Bowl champions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers welcome the Dallas Cowboys into a SOLD OUT Raymond James Stadium.

The Bucs look to repeat history tonight, being they defeated the Cowboys 10 to 6 on this very day Week 1 of 2001, two days before 9/11. Tonight, Tampa begins defense of the their Super Bowl title against those same Cowboys, “America’s Team”, 20 years later.

Prior to tonight’s kickoff, the Bucs elevated safety Andrew Adams and wide receiver Jaydon Mickens from the practice squad to the active roster.

Expect an explosive affair tonight, in all forms, especially at the Quarterback position between Tom Brady and Dak Prescott. Kickoff is set for 8:20 tonight from Raymond James Stadium.

John’s Prediction: Buccaneers 27, Cowboys 20
