TAMPA – Tampa Pride is back!
The 2021 celebration in Tampa will be the country’s first pride since the start of the pandemic.
The event kicked off Saturday with a street festival, followed by a diversity parade, and will end the night with a concert.
Organizers planned for 30,000 people to fill the streets of Ybor City, which is down from the 70,000 people who showed up to the festival and parade in 2019.
All guests are required to follow the current CDC guidelines, and there will be extra sanitation stations in place and masks will also be given out.
