SARASOTA -The Sarasota Police Department has arrested a man who robbed the McDonald’s at 3511 Fruitville Road in Sarasota on Wednesday.
According to the affidavit report 28-year-old Montez Lamarr Diegert is facing one felony charge of robbery. Detectives say Diegert handed an employee a note demanding money and implied he had a weapon.
Diegert fled with an undisclosed amount of money and made his getaway on a bicycle. Investigators say they were able to find Diegert’s fingerprints all over the restaurant.
Officers arrested Diegert Friday morning and is being held on a $75,000 bond.
