LAWRENCEBURG, TN (SNN-TV) -After two games of the Southeast Regional, Sarasota found itself fighting from underneath.
Forced to play two games on yesterday due to Wednesday’s rain postponement, the 14s dropped their opening game to host Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, 11-4, before rallying to defeat Marshall County, 13-5, last night.
Unfortunately, Sarasota fell 3-0 earlier today to Tallahassee, effectively knocking them out of the running for the World Series in Fredricksburg next month.
Nonetheless, Scooter Gennett’s team has one game to go, tomorrow against Greenville, SC at 12:30pm on X Sports Network.
