MANATEE COUNTY- Former Miss Milwaukee and Miss Wisconsin 1944,
Elyse Sutter Oddo has died.
The beauty queen starred in the 1947 film “This Time For Keeps” with comic Jimmy Durante.
She missed her 75th anniversary of being named Miss Wisconsin by just three days. We met Sutter in 2014, when she turned 90, the former Ellenton resident says her goal was to make it to one hundred years old.
