SARASOTA – The action packed rescue dog show, ‘Puppy Pals’ has made its way to the Suncoast. 

“Expect, the unexpected, we are really excited because this show is going to be bigger than ever,” said Owner and Presenter of ‘Puppy Pals Show’, Wesley Williams. 

Quarter finalists this past season on America’s Got Talent, ‘the puppy pals’ will show off their unique stunts and breathtaking feats at Robarts Arena, Saturday.

“So they’re here and then we have some special K9 counterparts, celebrities if you will, we have Frisbee dogs, agility dogs, we have all kinds everything different about dog acts, everything that you can think of under the moon it’s going to be here,” said Williams. 

From shelters to showbiz, all of Williams’s pups are rescues, each specializing in different tricks. 

“Border collies they need to be mentally stimulated so they do Frisbee and agility and these are very food motivated dogs so they do tricks that are motivated by food, so every do is different and has their strengths and you are going to see all of them at the show here on Saturday,” said Williams. 

Stunt dog trainer, Cassie Kennedy will have three of her Border Collies showing off their talent. 

“They’re extremely smart so they pick up on anything I teach them very quickly, but training never stops so I’m literally training these dogs every single day, yes I use treats, I use toys, I play to motivate my dogs and I also use a lot of verbal praise as well,” said Stunt Dog Trainer for Ohana Dog Training, Cassie Kennedy. 

Puppy pals is partnering with a Suncoast non-profit for some preshow fun.

“Were partnering with Satchels last resort pet rescue and sanctuary so you can come on down one hour before the show, were going to have a bunch of activities, you can get your favorite yummy treats and a whole lot more, its all at our free one hour before Showtime, puppy Palooza pre-show party,” said Williams. 

The show will be on for one day only at Robarts Arena at 2 and 7PM this Saturday, May 22nd.
