SARASOTA COUNTY (WSNN) – Sober words from Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Kenn Watson.
Watson tells SNN, law enforcement will be out in full force on this holiday night. As FHP and other agencies prepare for New Year’s Eve, Watson warns all of us, if you’re pulled over for possible D-U-I, no warnings will be issued:
“This is something that can literally change your life,” Trooper Watson said. “People lose careers, there are colleges they can no longer go to. Fundamentally, it will change everything from that point on.”
Watson adds, that by doing the right thing, by planning to have a safe New Year’s Eve by using a ride service or a designated driver, you can yourself a lot of heartache and money. Maybe even save a life.
