MANATEE – It’s the return of Music in the Park. Bradenton residents and visitors enjoyed a night of free music and food at the Mosaic Amphitheater on the Riverwalk.
It was a night of food, music and dancing.
“In a word riverwalk, it is a beloved public space right here on the riverfront and tonight is gonna be full of live music,” Catherine Ferrer.
Hosted by Realize Bradenton, music in the park brings local and national singers or bands to perform on the Suncoast. “Music bring people together and we have a vary line up with lots of different artist, local talent,” said Ferrer.
Ferrer, Community Engagement Coordinator for Realize Bradenton, says this event has something for everyone.
“We try to put a little something for everyone, whatever your musical taste you’ll find some band that you like,” said Ferrer.
Mark Walters has attended Music in the Park since its first concert in 2012. He says the variety of music is what keeps bring him back for more.
“The variety, they have country, they have jazz, the Beatles are here,” said Walters.
Walters says the uniqueness of Music in the park is what makes Bradenton a special place to live.
“It’s unique to Bradenton,” said Walters. “It’s an event that we can have and Realize Bradenton what a great concept what a great place to live.”
Music in the Park take place every Friday from six to eight at the Mosaic Amphitheater on the Riverwalk. People are encouraged to bring picnic hampers, blankets and chairs to enjoy the free music of the night.
