An estimated more than 50,000 students will start the first day of classes since being out of the classrooms since March. “To ensure parents feel comfortable that their children feel comfortable. I’m excited in seeing them coming back,” said Saunders. “I’ve been in schools and it’d odd not to see students in them.”
Director of Communications for the school district Michael Barber says 48% of students are enrolled in on-campus learning 29% are in full-time eLearning, and 23% chose the hybrid option.
