TERRA CEIA – A suspect is dead after deputies say he got into a fight with a man and his son mowing grass at their home in Manatee County.
It happened at around 12:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Bayshore Drive in Terra Ceia.
Deputies say the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times, the victim’s son then came to his father’s aid and began fighting the suspect.
When deputies and first responders arrived they found the suspect suffering from a head wound. He died at the scene.
The victim was taken to Bayfront Hospital as a trauma alert. He is expected to survive. Detectives are investigating.
