MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (SNN TV) – Interviews with five candidates for Manatee County administrator are set for next week.
Manatee County announced five finalists are scheduled for an on-site visit on Aug. 16. They’ll also be interviewed by individual county commissioners.
The position is currently held by interim Deputy Administrator Charlie Bishop.
According to the Herald Tribune, an interview session with the commission is scheduled for Aug. 18. It’ll be open to the public beginning at 1:30 p.m. in the Manatee County Commission Chambers. Plans for a public reception are being finalized.
The county announced that discussion and final selection of Manatee County’s next county administrator may take place after the interviews on Aug. 18 or the meeting scheduled for Aug. 22.
The finalists include Andrew A. “Andy” Butterfield, James C. “Jim” Doar, Dale “Doc” Dougherty, Don L. Rosenthal, and William “Lee” Smith
