CHARLOTTE- An unnamed 23-year-old was left with serious injuries following an alligator attack in Charlotte County.
The victim was attacked near a pond located behind the local establishment, the Banditos Bar.
According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office and the Charlotte County EMS all responded to the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital by helicopter and a contracted nuisance alligator trapper was sent to the scene.
The commission says they are investigating the incident.
