LOS ANGELES, CA (SNN-TV) – Lincoln Riley said he wasn’t leaving Oklahoma for LSU. But, he didn’t say he wasn’t leaving the Sooners for USC.

In a stunning move on Sunday, Riley accepted the head-coaching position in Southern California with the Trojans.

At USC, Riley replaces former Trojans coach Clay Helton, who was fired in September.

Former Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops will take on the interim title and coach the Sooners‘ bowl game.

Following Riley’s jump to USC, earlier today, former Sooners staring QB Spencer Rattler announced he was entering the transfer portal.
