SUNRISE, FL (SNN-TV) – The Lightning looked to keep a leg up on the Panthers in their second-round playoff series today at FLA Live Arena in Sunrise.

Ross Colton scored with less than four seconds remaining to lift the Lightning to a 2-1 victory over the Panthers in Game 2.

Nikita Kucherov collected a puck behind the Panthers net and sent a backhand pass to a wide-open Colton, leading to the score.

The Lightning led 1-0 early on after Corey Perry’s first-period power-play goal, before Florida’s Eetu Luostarinen tied it late in the second.

Tampa Bay now takes a 2-0 series lead into Game 3 Sunday at Amalie Arena.
