LAKEWOOD RANCH – Good news for those of you wanting to see more movies on the big screen: Lakewood Ranch Cinemas is reopening.
According to the Herald-Tribune, Lakewood Ranch Cinemas originally reopened last June. But because attendance was low as big new films released only on streaming, it closed again in December.
Lakewood Ranch Cinemas will now reopen March 31 with screenings of Godzilla vs. Kong.
Starting April, screenings will be added of the films Nobody, Raya and the Last Dragon, Tom & Jerry, Nomadland, and Minari.
Also starting April 2, Lakewood Ranch Cinemas will open only on weekends.
Masks will be required except if you’re eating or drinking. Fewer people will be allowed in a screening and showtimes will be staggered.
Lakewood Ranch Cinemas is located by Main Street at Lakewood Ranch.
