PALM HARBOR, FL (SNN-TV) – American Katie Volynets captured the title at the U.S. Pro Women’s Clay Court Championships at Innisbrook Resort Sunday.
Volynets closed out the first set by clinching the 10th game over China’s Xiyu Wang, then Volynets won the final three games of the second set to take the title.
The singles title at Innisbrook was Volynets‘ second career title on the ITF Circuit.
