SARASOTA – JDubs Brewery and Pet Wants started JDogs at JDubs back in June to create a pet friendly market at JDubs beer garden for all pet owners to bring their four legged friend.
The array of vendors help raise money for Animal Network who donates all proceeds to a local animal rescue. Owner of Pet Wants Jilian Alumbaugh says she want to continue creating markets that people and their pets enjoy together.
“We’re trying to get really everyone in the community to come together have a good time introduce their dogs get some socialization at the same time come together for a cause,” said Alumbaugh. “We’ve got a lot of people here that are very interested in donating to local rescues. Sarasota is wonderful with that, there’s a lot of donations lots of non-profits that are supporting each other.”
JDogs is hosted every first Sunday of the month at JDub’s beer garden from 1-4 p.m.
