SARASOTA – The group Honey Wheel BMX , which ranges from 3-6 years old, is visiting Sarasota for the second time from China and will be competing at the Sarasota BMX invitational.
During their visit the group will stop at the Learning Cottage Preschool to share with the students food and songs from their culture to showcase good sportsmanship before the big race.
“We’re going to be doing a cultural exchange where the students come in and they meet American students,” said John Purse, Program Director. “It’s such a heart wrenching, in a positive way, movement, last year we had everybody in tears it was just such a special thing.”
The students will exchange friendship bracelets and then perform on their BMX bikes to showcase their talent.
