NOKOMIS – “She showed me the video and I was shocked by the video, you know I can’t see a man doing what he did, it really confused me,” said Husband of victim, Tom Biche.
A disturbing video captured Nicholas Schock of Wauchula knocking a woman unconscious at Pop’s Sunset Grill in Nokomis Friday Afternoon.
According to the arrest report, Schock threatened to kill everyone at the restaurant and then shouted “allegiance to the Aryan brotherhood.”
“They call her mama bear at pops, all the people who know her and the regulars call her mama bear because she’s very caring, she’s a very strong, brave and caring woman, we can all see that,” said Biche.
His wife, an employee of a little over two years at Pop’s, stepped between Schock and patrons.
“Her mindset when she came out was that she didn’t want any of her customers or any more children, she just wanted everything to stop,” said Biche.
Biche was reportedly hit twice and knocked unconscious. A witness of the incident was able to capture the moment staff helped keep Schock down until after authorities arrived.
“He started spouting out quotes and references in regards to the Aryan nation and National front,” said a witness of the incident, Declan Mclleveney. “And proceeded to say anyone taking videos or taking pictures to please send them on to Donald Trump because Donald Trump will get him off this charge.”
Schock was arrested Friday afternoon and charged with battery and disturbing the peace.
A go-fund-me page has been started for the employee who was struck.
Schock is being held at Sarasota County Jail on a $55,000 dollar bail, his bond was raised after it was originally set at $620
