PUNTA GORDA – Veterans will be taking on an upcoming flight to Washington D.C., and you can help get them there.

According to a press release, Southwest Florida Honor Flight will present their Fall Golf Tournament Saturday, October 15 at Deep Creek Golf Course.

Registration is open. It’s $90 per person or $360 for a team of 4. The registration fees include golf, continental breakfast, lunch, and two drink tickets. Business and hole sponsorships are available as well.

All proceeds will go to transport vets to D.C., with top priority given to World War II and Korean vets, and vets with health conditions that may not allow them to go on future flights. However, veterans of all eras are welcome.
