INDIANAPOLIS, IN (SNN-TV) – A long awaited win for the University of Georgia.
The Bulldogs defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide Monday night in the College Football Playoff National Championship game in Indianapolis. The final score was 33 to 18.
This is Georgia’s first national title in football since the 1980 season. It’s also Georgia’s first win against Alabama since 2007. Alabama was vying for its seventh national title since the 2009 season.
