VENICE (SNN-TV) – One day removed from Thanksgiving, the Venice Indians (11-1) played host to the West Orange Warriors (11-1) tonight at Powell-Davis Stadium in the 8A Regional Finals. Would the Suncoast’s sole survivor, survive and advance? Or would there season come to a crippling halt?

With their win, the Indians (12-1) will now host the Columbus Explorers (9-3) in the FHSAA 8A State Semifinals next Friday, December 3rd at Powell-Davis Stadium at 7pm.
Columbus advanced tonight after defeating Miami Palmetto, 22-14. The final four of the State Final for 8A, shapes out like this:
(1) Venice vs. (5) Columbus
(3) Apopka vs. (2) Treasure Coast
