SUNCOAST – Residents looking to rejoin the work force or simply revitalize their career then now is your opportunity.
Florida JobLink is once again returning to the Suncoast with their Career Kickoff Job Fair taking place on Wednesday in Sarasota.
The job fairs offers a unique experience for potential job candidates to meet one-on-one with employers as they make their rounds to the individual booths of their liking.
Director of Florida JobLink Stephanie Sims says more than 25 businesses and organizations will be represented and are hoping to fill up all 300 jobs available.
Sims says these job fairs are a reminder that many businesses across the world are struggling in either retaining or hiring new employees.
From locally owned mom and pop shops to giant conglomerates like Amazon, G4S, and Piedmont Airlines just to name a few area finding that they themselves are finding just as hard in getting good help.
Sims says all industries are looking to hire new and motivated employees with little or no experience needed. She says at times those who attend the job fairs are shocked to leave with multiple job offers on the table.
“Employers are very happy about that”
The job fair is taking place at the Hampton Inn Sarasota at 975 University Parkway and runs from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
But before arriving to the job fair Sims says you have to register online as slots are limited. The registration process just takes some time to fill it out.
However registration is free for anyone to sign up. Sims says close to 300 people are already to go.
