SARASOTA (WSNN) – The free outdoor art exhibit, ‘Embracing Our Differences’ returns to Sarasota.
This 19th annual edition of the display began Saturday in Downtown Sarasota’s Bayfront Park.
It celebrates diversity and inclusion featuring 50 billboard-sized works of art, each accompanied by an inspirational quotation.
One local was blown away by the youth and their ability to create a message through art.
“First of all there’s hope for humanity in the younger people,” Sarasota resident Victor Simpkins said. “Clearly our local younger people and around the world. This is the best exhibition of public art I’ve seen in Sarasota.”
Since 2004, the exhibit has hosted millions of visitors, with nearly 500,000 students submitting their artwork.
This free outdoor exhibit runs through April 10th. So there is plenty of time to check it out.
