SARASOTA – The crash happened around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Fruitville and Lockwood Ridge Road. A driver was trapped inside the vehicle which was turned over.
The person was safely extricated from the vehicle and transported to Sarasota Memorial with non-life threatening injuries. The cause of the crash has not been reported.
