CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (SNN TV) – You don’t have to be good at fishing or even like fishing to enjoy this upcoming event.
The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is hosting its FantaSea Fishing Tournament Sept. 30, which benefits the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches.
This is fantasy fishing, so you don’t need to bring a boat, rods, or reels. Everything you need will be provided.
There will be dinner, dancing, silent auctions, prizes, fantasy fishing, and more.
The 2 largest combined fish weights win the top prize of $1,500.
You can purchase tickets at any CCSO District Office.
A ticket for one is $50 and tickets for a couple is $90.
The event will take place at TT’s Tiki Bar (33 Tamiami Trail, Punta Gorda) at 5 p.m.
