TAMPA (SNN-TV) – There are exactly two teams in the NFC that were in the playoffs last year and are 2-0 so far this season. The Bucs being one and the Los Angeles Rams being the other.
The Buccaneers will make their first road trip of the season and their first ever trip to the new So-Fi Stadium. The Buccaneers could have difficulty extending their 10-game winning streak against a star-studded Rams defense that finished first in the NFL in both points and yards allowed in 2020.
But the Buccaneers offense will likely combat the dominant L-A defense without prominent playmaker Antonio Brown, as he’s been place on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. With Brown out, Scotty Miller looks to make the most of the opportunity on Sunday.
“I’m just really excited to go out there and get some opportunities hopefully. I always try to stay ready no matter what because you never know when your opportunity is going to come. It could’ve came Week 1 or Week 2, but I didn’t happen to get the ball thrown my way. This week I’ll be ready, and if it does, hopefully I will be able to make the play.”
Kickoff from Los Angeles, between the Buccaneers and Rams is set for Sunday afternoon at 4:25.
