BRADENTON (SNN-TV) – Baseball is back at LECOM Park! The Bradenton Marauders return home the first time this season, as they open up a six-game homestand tonight against the Lakeland Flying Tigers.

The Marauders enter the home portion of their schedule following a series win over the Dunedin Blue Jays on MiLB’s Opening Weekend. On Sunday, the Marauders defeated Dunedin 13-4 to clinch the series victory.

Seven of the nine men in the Marauders lineup recorded a hit, and eight of the nine reached base safely in the game. Right-hander Luis Oviedo, on rehab assignment for the Pirates, pitched the first inning for the Marauders and retired all three batters he faced on fourteen total pitches.

Lakeland enters tonight’s contest coming off a series loss to the Tampa Tarpons.

First pitch from LECOM Park is set for 6:30pm.
