BRADENTON (WSNN) – Two drive-by shootings on back to back days in one Bradenton neighborhood lead to an arrest of a Palmetto teen.
Bradenton police identified the suspect in Thursday night’s homicide as 15-year-old Luis Montesinos.
Detectives say Montesinos shot and killed victim Antonio Aguirre in the 700 block of 25th st east.
Thursday, detectives found Montesinos at a residence in unincorporated manatee county and taken into custody without incident.
He was arrested for 2nd-degree murder.
Following Thursday’s shooting, more shots were fired, Friday night, during the vigil of Aguirre.
