SARASOTA (WSNN) – Sarasota Bar owners are ready for one of its busiest nights of the year: St Patrick’s Day.

Mattison’s City Grille’s general manager, Dan Mattern says last year when COVID-19 shut things down, they lost a lot of business.

But this year, they’re open and prepared with masks, spaced-out seating, and sanitation.

Mattern says they’re welcoming all. “

“We’re very happy to be here. We’re very grateful to be an outside restaurant and still have a business,” Mattern said. “We have a band tonight starting at 8:00 PM. I expect us to fill up; we’ll have the dancing. We’re able to celebrate this year, safely. We still have our tables separated, we are outside. All of our employees are wearing masks. We’re ready to have a good time downtown.”

Tonight, they’re serving this special corned beef brisket dish along with fun green drinks.

So, if you’re ready to celebrate, and Mattison’s is ready for you.
