PORT CHARLOTTE (SNN TV) – The Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County celebrates Christmas in July.
That’s because Fresh Jersey Tomatoes donated many needed items to the organization, according to a press release.
Loaded up in big carts, FJT’s donated cat litter, dog and cat food, dog treats, and other items on AWL’s wish list. Fresh Jersey Tomatoes says it donated those items in addition to $150 on Thursday.
Fresh Jersey Tomatoes is an 8-year-old group with 350 members. It consists of women originally from New Jersey who now live in Charlotte County.
Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that says it’s devoted to the well-being of homeless pets.
