VENICE – In this week’s edition of Feel Good Friday, SNN’s Grant Boxleitner spent time with members of the Venice Area Quilters’ Guild.
The 2020 quilt show, Quilting By The Gulf: A Festival Of Quilts will continue from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.Saturday at the Venice Community Center, 326 S. Nokomis Ave. The show, which began Friday, features more than 200 judged quilts on display, a raffle, auction and basket walk.
The guild helps local nonprofits and also gives quilts to area veterans. Admission is $8 for a daily session.
