ST. PETE — The Braden River Marching Band of Pirates do it again – they are State Champions. On Saturday, they performed their show Humor Me at the annual Florida Marching Band Championship in Clearwater, St. Pete and Tampa.
They qualified for the finals, and when all scores were in, won the state championship for their Triple-A class.This makes them back-to-back state champions after winning last year.
Their show Humor Me is about the different states of humor – dark humor, humor you wear as a mask, slapstick, and finally achieving inner peace. Go to their Facebook or Twitter and congratulate them!
