SARASOTA – Sarasota police are searching for a woman who went missing on Lido Beach.
Police say she went swimming with a friend on Lido between 7-30 and 8 Saturday night. The friend came back to shore but she did not. SPD searched with the Coast Guard through the night but found no one. They don’t believe there’s foul play.
SNN spoke with the woman’s family. Her name is Everliz Valentina Vega Medina. She is a 24-year-old Hispanic woman with black hair, brown eyes, a black butterfly tattoo on her right collar bone and weighs around 120 pounds. She was seen wearing a two-piece bikini.
