PARRISH – A new State College of Florida campus will open in Manatee County.
Manatee County Commissioners unanimously approved a development plan for a State College of Florida campus in Parrish.
The Herald-Tribune reports the campus would be built on about 75 acres of land at the northwest corner of Erie Road and Fort Hamer Road. It will include buildings and facilities such as administrative offices, classrooms, a student union, a library, recreational areas, and dorms.
The property is across the street from the School District of Manatee County’s soon-to-be-built North River High School.
