SARASOTA (SNN-TV) – Tonight we honor a life lost to soon, one of the Suncoast’s most beloved, young talents.

According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, a collision that occurred early on Sunday morning in Okahumpka resulted in the death of Sarasota’s Carlos Wilson, a talented sports videographer.

A report on the collision states that the driver of the SUV was heading east on county road 470 when they approached the intersection where they ran a red light, colliding with an oncoming semi. Wilson sent a Snapchat prior to the crash, stating that the driver, working for Uber, was falling asleep and swerving.

Carlos was a graduate of Booker High School, as well as a content creator and founder of “The Nine Network”, and was only 25-years old.
