QUEENS, NY (SNN-TV) – With so many options of what to do with a HR, whether it be Albert Pujols 700th or Aaron Judge’s 62nd, you can hardly decide, unless you’re this golden retriever in Queens who decided to just slobber all over his lucky snag.

Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor homered in the second game of a doubleheader against the Nationals on Tuesday and the recipient was of the “goodest” variety. Giving Lindor’s home run ball “The Sandlot” treatment was worth the work, as Renegade the golden retriever became a viral sensation last night.

The pup’s owner, Chris Howland, plans on keeping the ball and putting it — dog spit and all — up on the mantel.
