MOORESVILLE, NC (SNN-TV) – Actor Frankie Muniz is re-inventing himself as a race car driver.
Yesterday, the former “Malcolm in the Middle” star announced he’ll be driving full-time in the NASCAR-owned ARCA Series this season, according to his Muniz Racing website. Starting next month, Muniz will be behind the wheel for Rette Jones Racing, as he’ll be driving the #30 Ford Mustang.
In a statement, the actor turned driver said quote “I look forward to demonstrating how serious how I am in progressing in my racing career.”
The lifelong fan of professional driving will be behind the wheel starting February 18th at Daytona International Speedway.
