CHARLOTTE COUNTY (SNN TV) – Charlotte County Youth Basketball begins June 7.
The program will last through July 26. The county’s Parks and Rec says the program is geared for kids ages 9 to 13. The kids will go through dribbling, passing, layup, shooting and defense drills before playing a full court game.
Baskets will be 10 feet high. There are 10 spots available each week for the next eight weeks, and pre-registration is required weekly. The registration fee is two dollars $2. You can register online or call the department at (941)-627-1074.
