SARASOTA – Traveling 35,000 feet in the air in luxury has never been better.

“It’s an industry first, no travel agency has ever done anything like this,” said Malaka Hilton, travel specialist at Admiral Travel.

Crystal Skye and Admiral Travel will be taking nearly 60 lucky passengers on-board of the lavish Boeing Triple Seven 200LR on a non-stop 15 hour flight to South Africa for a Singita Safari experience.

“It’ll be a full good 24 hours of full excitement from the time they step on board until the time they get to their safari camp,” said Hilton

Passengers on-board the Boeing triple seven will be treated to three course meals, a social lounge to mingle with one another and live on flight entertainment. “They are gonna fly in true comfort. I tease and say that this will be a 15 hour flight that when we land people may not want to get off,” said Hilton.

This charter flight arrival is the first an aircraft of this magnitude has landed at SRQ Airport and it could be sign of more to come.

“We’re hopeful that this leads to other Crystal Skye flights here of this same unique nature,” said President and CEO of SRQ Rick Piccolo.

Other amenities passengers will be offered is wine testing and five star meals provided by Salvatore Ferragamo of II Borro Wines. Safari Specialist Ryan Hilton says he and the passengers are already this one of kind experience.

“For 20 years I’ve been preparing travelers to travel to Africa and the getting to Africa has never been able to get them excited. These guests are very excited about flying on this aircraft straight to Africa,” said Ryan.

The Boeing triple seven is set to depart from SRQ this Friday. The safari is described as a nine day luxury journey that is hoped to be repeated again in the future.
