SARASOTA – Saturday is National Honey Bee Day and the Bazaar on Apricot & Lime wants your help celebrating.
Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bazaar, you can see live bees and beekeeper attire, and hear from Gary with Bee Blessed Honey. He’ll give you a glimpse at a day in the life of a beekeeper. Buzz on over there quickly! The first 50 customers get a free honey stick, all while supporting local vendors.
“We’ve got buzzy games to play,” Kim Livengood with the Bazaar said. “Every dollar you spend brings a lot of money into the economy here, and we need to keep our economy going. Plus, our honey here is the best you can get!”
Livengood says there will also be complimentary ‘Bees Knees’ cocktails for those over 21, and for the young ones there will be some fun, bee-themed arts and crafts.
